A Little Bit About Me...

Hello my name is Aaron John Smith Moodley. AJ for short. I am a Film Student at Griffith College studying to get my BA in Film, Television and screen media production and direction degree and have already graduated from Pulse College with a Diploma in Film Production part time.

Ever since I was a kid I’ve loved film and have always been intrigued by the creation process which gravitated me towards film school and the wider studies of our modern media landscape and how I can be involved within it.

I’ve had the opportunity to direct 3 films with my time at griffith and cherish all the knowledge and skills i have gained from the entire creative process from pre-production and coming up with ideas for a film, the production of filming said film and the post-production where we get to play around with it in the editing software to make it as good as possible.

Working on film is tough and sometimes some real difficulties can appear during the filming but with the amazing and brilliant people i have studied with we’ve always managed to make something we enjoy and can learn from so we may improve our skills to be ready for the next project around the corner.
